About this add-on
Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition’s fourth DLC, The Surgeon and Baibars, packs the base game with even more distinctive CPU lords, each with their own novel playstyles and a dastardly new nine mission Sands of Time trail to test your nerve and wits!
Come one and all, ye challengers, conquerors and would-be kings, and face the greatest strategic gauntlet yet – to overcome the merciless Sultan Baibars as well as the deadly Surgeon of the desert.
The wily Surgeon is a truly master of defence, building colossal castles with a great deal of huge towers to try and keep the enemy out. Do not be deceived by his perceived passiveness – as like all great predators, he aims to let prey tire themselves before swooping in for the final move.
A former slave who raised himself to the station of Sultan, Baibars is much more aggressive and direct. He forges strong basic fortresses and seeks to overwhelm his foes with waves upon waves of attacks. Crashing his forces against the walls of your stronghold, you must fight the right balance between survival and attack if you wish to succeed against him.
Invoke the spirits of warriors past and charge through a series of brutal missions in the latest Sand of Time trail, The Trail of the Vulture!
UNIQUE CPU LORDS - These Lords bring a fresh creative edge to the battlefront raises the total number of Lords in the game to a colossal 29!
NINE DAUNTING NEW MISSIONS - Tear your opponents to shreds in the new Trail of the Vulture!
EMBRACE THE ART OF WAR – Adapt to fresh threats, attempt new strategies and have faith in the strength of your troops and walls!
CRUSH YOUR FOES – Each new Lord arrives with original voice lines, strategies and citadels to decimate!
