The high-speed line between Nürnberg and Ingolstadt opened to traffic in 2006 as part of a longer connection between Berlin and Munich. Following the path of the A9 motorway, the line cuts through the forested landscape to prioritise speed, resulting in many tunnels, gentle sweeping curves and dominating gradients.

Become a driver along the fastest German route to date in Train Sim World. Race non-stop on ICE services between Ingolstadt and Nurnberg, taking in the 90km of break-neck route at 5km a minute.
